Yadadri-Bhongir: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bibinagar, will set up level 1 Covid Care Centre to manage mild to moderate cases of COVID-19 from April 29.

Executive Director of AIIMS Bibinagar Prof (Dr.) Vikas Bhatia, in a media release, said in this hour of crisis following the sudden surge of COVID-19 cases, AIIMS Bibinagar assures the general public of requisite medical care and other medical assistance. AIIMS Bibinagar is deeply concerned about the well-being of general public, particularly protection from



COVID-19.

Covid Care Centre of AIIMS with 25 beds will start functioning from April 29. The bed strength will be scaled up to 80 in the shortest possible time. In addition, measures have also been initiated in AIIMS Bibinagar to include E-Sanjeevini and Tele-Consultation O.P.D services, and Medical Officer and Nursing Officers would be available on “ e-Sanjeevini” mobile numbers, Dr Bhatia said, adding that COVID vaccination was already available on all days. RT-PCR and Rapid Antigen test facility was also available.
