All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) candidate Syed Amin-ul-Hasan Jafri is set to be declared elected unanimously to the Legislative Council under Hyderabad local body constituency.
This will be the third term for the journalist-turned-legislator. Jafri filed his nomination papers for MLC post on Tuesday.His candidature was seconded by Deputy Chief



Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, GHMC Mayor Bontu Rammohan, Malakpet MLA Balala before returning officer Adwait Kumar Singh. With this nomination, only one nomination paper was filed for Hyderabad MLC post.
Tuesday was the last date to file nomination. The last date for withdrawal of nomination is March 3 and election if needed was to be conducted on March 17.
