Advisor to Telangana Government (Minorities’ Affairs) A.K. Khan, along with other officials, visited Jamia Nizamia in the Old City on Thursday and inspected the ongoing construction works of auditorium at the institution.

State Government has sanctioned Rs.14.65 crores for this construction of Auditorium. A.K. Khan has instructed the officials and contractors to complete the work by February 2018 and informed that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao will inaugurate the auditorium on the eve of



Jamia’s Annual Day celebration. Further, he informed that the Chief Minister has announced that the government would consider the Degree of Jamia Nizamia as equivalent to any other degree.

Minority Welfare Dept Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel, Jamia Nizamia Chancellor Syed Akbar Nizamuddin, Moulana Syed Shah Zahiruddin Ali Sufi, Moulana Ubaidullah Faheem, Shaikul Jamia Nizamia Moulana Mufti Khaleel Ahmed, Moulana Dr.Hafiz Mohammed Saber Pasha Quadri and other officials were also present.
