Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi asked State Wakf Board officials to include a provision for a small hospital and a school in the upcoming campus of Anees-ul-Ghurba in Nampally.

He, along with Wakf Board Chairman Mohammed Saleem, on Tuesday visited the site where works were yet to commence as the plan of the building was amended. New work order with changes would be released on Wednesday (18/10/2017) and work will commence in a week, said an official of the Minority Welfare Department.

Akbaruddin suggested the area which was allotted for the parking has to be reduced because Nampally

Railway Station was close to the proposed orphanage building and outsiders parking their vehicles in the building could be a nuisance for the children here.

Saleem said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao not only handed over the 4,000 square yards land to Minority Welfare Department but also released Rs 20 crore for the construction of a multi-storied building.

Anees-ul-Ghurba is now run from small premises at Nampally Ek Minar Masjid junction with more than 120 orphan Muslim children there. These children, along with others, would be moved into a new building in a year, said Saleem.
