Akbaruddin Owaisi wants to hold Budget Session for 20 days

Janab Akrabuddin Owaisi Majlis floor leader has made a representation with Assembly Speaker P Srinivas Reddy to convene the Budget Session for at least 20 days. Majlis leader asked with Assembly Speaker that All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen request to hold short discussions on different subjects including Ministry of welfare, developmental works in Old City Hyderabad, 12 percent Muslims reservation, Safety of Wakf land in the state, Scholarships for SC,ST, BC, Minorities, implementation of urdu language on government level, inclusion of Urdu in government exams, State Health condition, construction of new towers in Osmania Hospital. There is a need to make discussion on Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiratha for issue of maintenance grants, late setup of National Institute of Design.

Set up of Omega Powerloom Park and Textile clusters, restoration of old pension schemes for State Government employees, and



implementation of PRC, according to new District zonal policy to fulfill the demands of employees and teachers, employees transfer in G.O 317 needs to be discussed. Janab Akbaruddin Owaisi has sent a letter to Speaker Assembly P Srinivas Reddy and wants to keep a date for discussion of different subjects in the ongoing Budget Session. Assembly sessions need to run for more than 20 days.

Janab Akbaruddin Owaisi said that according to assembly records in the last four years till 2022 only 62 days assembly session was held. During the term 2014-2018 the assembly session was held for 126 days. The Majlis leader said that in the current assembly session the question hour has to end. Janab Akbaruddin Owaisi said  that in our country we have partnership democracy, for that it is necessary to hold  discussions in the assembly session.
