All arrangements completed for Ganesh idol immersion in Hyderabad

In Hyderabad, all arrangements are in place for Ganesh idol immersion. During the 10-day festivities, about 30 thousand idols will be immersed in the Hussainsagar lake in Hyderabad. Over 30 additional tiny and artificial ponds have been created for the immersion so that idols can be immersed easily.

About 25 thousand police personnel and over 10 thousand personnel from various departments from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation have been deployed



for the immersion process.

Police have imposed heavy traffic restrictions throughout the Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda police commissionerates in view of the Shobha Yatra of Ganesh Idols.

Telangana Government has declared a Holiday today for schools, colleges and government offices on account of Ganesh Idol Immersion. The government has issued orders to this effect.
