Alwal rythu bazaar to be modernised: Harish Rao

Marketing and irrigation minister Harish Rao directed the marketing department to modernise Alwal rythu bazaar by providing better facilities with the cooperation of the Secunderabad Cantonment Board, Railways and road and buildings (R&B) department.

At a review meeting with the officials on Thursday, Harish Rao said that chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is keen on



the development of Alwal rythu bazaar.He said that SCB, Railways and R&B should provide land to the marketing department for the expansion.

The minister also ordered a joint survey of various departments to identify and earmark the land. Meanwhile, he ordered suspension of the Janagaon marketing staff who misused marketing fees.
