Amazon India, an e-commerce company, on Wednesday launched its delivery station in Hyderabad, the largest for the state of Telangana. With this, Amazon looks to improve its capabilities to speed up last-mile deliveries for customers in the neighbouring Ranga Reddy district. "The launch of the largest delivery centre in Telangana which spreads over 20,000 square feet will serve thousands of customers.
Over the last two
to three months, we are expanding our network in Telangana," Prakash Rochlani, Director, Last Mile Transportation, Amazon India told.
This is their 90th delivery station in the State with over 12 in Hyderabad itself. Besides, Amazon has three fulfilment centres in Hyderabad with 3.2 million cubic feet of storage space and two sorting centres with one lakh square feet of processing capacity.
