Al Hamd Foundation and MESCO on Thursday launched the ‘Medical Emergency and Ambulance Network Services’ (MEANS) in the Hyderabad city. The service will be extended to Covid-19 patients at a nominal price for those who can afford, while it will be free for those are poor.
“The foundation aims to extend basic and critical care services by professional trained and experienced doctors/paramedical staff to patients. A fleet of six ambulances and a mortuary
vehicle are made available,” said Mohammed Abdul Azeem, chairman, Al Hamd Foundation. This apart, the network is also providing medicine and online consultation with doctors.
AK Khan, Advisor to the Government on Minority Affairs, launching the services, said the government would support all NGOs who were coming forward to help the citizens during the crisis. For help, one could reach MEANS on 80008834011.
