BJP State president Dr K Laxman on Thursday said that Union Home Minister Amit Shah would be addressing a public meeting here on March 15 in an effort to dispel fears about the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). He said the Union Minister would counter the wrong interpretations made by different political parties.
Addressing a press conference here, he criticised the State
government for not fulfilling the promises it made during elections. “A State like Andhra Pradesh with deficit budget is also implementing PRC, whereas Telangana is refusing to implement the same for its employees,” Laxman said. He alleged that the State had failed to provide employment to its youth and also denied them the unemployment dole that it promised.
