An 85-year-old man spends night inside bank after being locked in locker room

An 85-year-old man was forced to spend an whole night inside a bank locker room after bank employees accidentally locked him inside the premises and left for the night.

The man V Krishna Reddy, a resident of Jubilee Hills Road No 67, had gone to the Union Bank near Jubilee Hills check-post to collect some property from the locker room around 4.30 pm on Monday and went inside the room.

“The bank security personnel did not notice him and locked the room



and left for the day,” the Jubilee Hills police said.

The worried family members after searching for him at various places approached the Jubilee Hills police and lodged a complaint.

On Tuesday morning around 10.30 am, when the bank officials came and opened the bank for the day, they found Krishna Reddy in the bank. On being informed, the Jubilee Hills police reached the spot and shifted the man to hospital as he was in a state of shock.
