An Endowments inspector attempts to die by suicide in Khammam

Hyderabad: R Samatha, an Endowments department inspector, is alleged to have attempted suicide on Tuesday.

The officer can be seen weeping in the Devadaya charity department's Khammam city office in a video that went viral on Twitter.

Venu, the chief follower of the BRS president and MLA for Khammam rural mandal, insulted her.

She then demonstrates a few tablet strips and asserts that she took all of them to kill herself.

After being verbally abused by the district MLA, she is said to be depressed.
