Andhra pradesh media not publishing news from Telangana: KTR

Telangana is bombarded with news from Amaravati, but no news from Telangana is published in AP newspapers, TRS working president Mr K.T. Rama Rao said at a function to felicitate journalist-turned-TRS’ Andole MLA Chanti Kranthi Kiran on Wednesday.

Mr Rama Rao said. “Telangana was fought for its identity, but news from Amaravati is being published here daily. We have no objection, but they are



not publishing Telangana news in Amaravati. If there is no Telangana news in AP editions, why do we need Andhra news in Telangana editions?”

He further said that if any dire steps are taken, people say the government is curbing freedom of expression. “This drama by a few newspapers won’t continue. We have to stop to such dominant behaviour,” he said.
