Man drowns in lake while fishing in Medak

A man, who went fishing in a local lake, drowned in the lake at Chennepally in Chinna Shankarampet mandal.

He was Gangakolla Gurupadam (30). As he failed to return home on Friday night, Gurupadam’s wife Radha searched for him in the



village on Saturday morning. His body was found floating in the lake. The locals informed Radha they saw him fishing at the lake on Friday evening.

The police registered a case. The body was shifted to the government hospital for postmortem.
