Hyderabad: Other local leaders in T Raja Singh's constituency have reportedly expressed interest in running for office if the party offers them a ticket, despite the fact that the Goshamahal BJP MLA is still under suspension for making derogatory remarks about the Prophet Muhammad last year. The Telangana high court has also issued a gag order against Raja Singh, prohibiting him from holding rallies or other public events in the state.

Raja Singh has been able to defy the gag order by attending Hindutva

rallies outside of the state as state elections near in six months. In Maharashtra, he has been doing the same thing for the past few weeks. According to reports, the two-time Goshamahal MLA is looking into all options, including running as an independent candidate in Hyderabad's Amberpet constituency, which was previously held by Union Minister G Kishan Reddy.

Raja Singh is extremely confident that he will win the Goshamahal or Amberpet seat in the 2023 assembly elections, according to sources close to the MLA.
