Muslim community on Sunday urged Indians to vehemently oppose the propagandist fascist forces on all fronts and observed that secularism, pluralism and composite culture of the country need to be preserved.
Paritcipating in a public meeting as part of the two-day city conference of Jamat-e-Islami city unit at exhibition ground, the leaders asked Muslims to promote the universal message of peace mentioned in Islam.

Owaisi, along with religious leaders addressed the meeting.
Mahmood Ali said State government under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was taking all possible measures for the development of all communities including Muslims. “We have to unitedly address the problems facing our community,” he said.
Asaduddin Owaisi said under the Narendra Modi’s rule, country’s composite culture and secularism were in danger and added, “We have to protect country’s Ganga-Jamuni culture at any cost.”
