Asaduddin Owaisi urges the government to construct three bridges

Hyderabad MP and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi urged the government to construct three parallel bridges alongside Nayapul bridge to accommodate street vendors and hawkers from the surrounding areas of Charminar.

He sought two bridges to be constructed from the State Central Library to Salarjung Museum and one from the Osmania Hospital end to Government Maternity Hospital.

Administration and Urban Development Department Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar, Owaisi said the proposed three new bridges would be convenient and suitably placed for vendors and hawkers.

He appealed to Kumar to consider the proposal of constructing the bridges to protect the livelihood of hundreds of poor street vendors, whose business is affected due to the ongoing Charminar Pedestrianisation Project works.
