Asian Doctors remove enlarged kidney carrying 20 litres of Urine

Hyderabad:  Doctors of Asian Institute of Nephrology & Urology (AINU) here have successfully removed the  ‘gigantic kidney’ carrying 20 liters of urine in it.

This expanded left kidney had a diameter of almost 90 centimeters, putting pressure on the patient's other vital organs.

For the past ten years, a 47-year-old male from Andhra Pradesh's West Godavari region had



frequent pains and gradually increased abdominal swelling. The condition was ignored for almost a decade, but in recent months, the swelling increased, resulting in acute abdominal pain. The patient went to see doctors at AINU as a result of this.
