Assembly Speaker holds preparatory meeting on budget session

Hyderabad: The top officials of State Government have been directed to provide information pertaining to various issues to be discussed during the budget session of Telangana State Legislative Assembly and Council commencing from March 10.

Assembly Speaker S. Madhusudan Chary and Council Chairman Swamy Goud held a review meeting with the top officials in Assembly premises on Wednesday. The meeting was attended by Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy, Deputy Chairman in Council Nethi Vidyasagar, Chief Secretary S.P.



Sing, Principal Secretaries Aadhar Sinha (GAD) and K. Ramakrishna (Finance), Secretary Finance Sandeed Kumar Sultania, Legislature Secretary Raja Sadaram, Joint Secretary V. Narsimha Charyulu and other officials.

During the meeting, the Speaker sought suggestions from the officials. He also directed the officials to send the details of previous session to Assembly Secretariat.

He said that the answers to different questions raised by members should also be furnished on time.
