Hyderabad: Banana costs in the city have gone up with twelve of the organic product presently costing Rs. 80 at business sectors on Saturday. Two months prior the costs were around Rs. 40 to Rs. 50 twelve in the city.
The cost increment is ascribed by the organic product brokers to low inventory and immense requests. "Banana from Andhra Pradesh is showing up at the market here. From Maharashtra it halted due to no yield for the present," said Shahnawaz, a vendor.
Because
of low stockpile the cost has gone up now consistently. Bananas show up in trucks from different pieces of Maharashtra, Karnataka and AP to the discount specialists at better places in Telangana and Hyderabad.
The discount commission specialists offer to retail merchants. "Because of Shivratri celebration there is cost expansion in certain areas by Rs 20. It is sold for Rs 100 twelve," said Rasheed another merchant. The costs will fall solely after new harvest from Maharashtra shows up to the city.
