Criticising the action of the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Protection Authority (HYDRAA) , Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay alleged that the unilateral decisions being taken by HYDRAA were not only affecting the people, but had done immense damage to the real estate and housing sector in the State.

Speaking to the media on Sunday, Sanjay said due to the actions of HYDRAA, the entire real estate business in the State had collapsed and that no company was coming

forward to invest in the State. Despite opposition from people and political parties, the State government was continuing the demolition drive causing immense losses and mental agony to people, he alleged.

“When people are suffering it is the duty of the government to look into the issue and find a solution. But CM Revanth Reddy is not listening to the pleas of people and going ahead with demolition. This will prove counterproductive for Congress and lead to its downfall,” he warned.
