Representations flooded the Commission on the last day of public hearing which concluded on Monday. The Commission received over 65 thousand representations, in favour of enhancement of reservation of socially and educationally backward classes of Muslims.representations via email which were also handed over to the Commission.
Thus over 65000 representations were submitted in favour of enhancement of
Muslim quota which is a record number of representations ever received by the commission.
Commission Chairman B.S. Ramulu, members Vakulabharanam Krishnamohan Rao, Anjaneya Goud, Juluru Gowri Shankar and member-secretary G.D. Aruna expressed happiness over the huge response to the public hearing conducted by them.
Public hearing was conducted by BC Commission from December 14 to 19.
