Khammam: Podem Veeraiah, Bhadrachalam MLA, filed a complaint with local police on Monday against Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for failing to release the Rs 100 crore funding promised for the development of the Lord Sitharamachandra temple.

Podem Veeraiah stated that KCR has committed to approving Rs 1,000 crore to raise the height of the 'Karakatta' (great

wall) to save flood victims, as well as to build housing for flood victims. He alleged in his complaint that K. Chandrashekar Rao misled the people of Bhadrachalam as well as Lord Sri Ramachandra and that KCR has yet to pay even Rs 100 and has failed to keep his commitments to the people of Bhadrachalam and Lord Sri Ramachandra.
