Nirmal: Normalcy returned to Bhainsa town which witnessed communal clashes four days back, as commercial establishments opened for business people started moving in the town on Thursday.
However, internet services continue to be suspended for the fourth consecutive day and security forces making their presence felt to prevent any untoward incident.
Sources said that normal situation prevailed in the town where over 20 houses and 20 bikes were
torched by a section of people resulting in communal conflicts on Sunday midnight and Monday.
Nirmal SP C Shashidhar Raju told that Bhainsa town was peaceful and no communal clashes were reported on Thursday. He informed that 13 cases were booked so far.
He stated 68 persons were already taken into custody for their role in the tensions. He said around 1,000 policemen were deployed in the town as a precautionary measure.
