Senior Congress leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has said BRS chief K.Chandrashekhar Rao and his son K.T. Rama Rao should have some common sense before asking the Congress the question of where would it bring the required funds for the implementation of its sops for the Six Guarantees it promised in its election manifesto.
"When our government has no resources, where would the BRS mobilise funds from to execute its manifesto? In the Congress dispensation, there wouldn't be resource loot like in the BRS regime. Then, there wouldn't be a dearth of funds for the Six Guarantees and the execution of declarations," he said.
Bhatti Vikramarka was addressing a series of street corner meetings in Maheshwaram and Rajendranagar constituencies
on behalf of the Congress nominees Kichennagari Laxma Reddy and Kasturi Narender respectively on Wednesday.
He reiterated that the Congress would do whatever it promised and would not deceive like BRS.
Alleging that the BRS government grabbed the assigned lands given by Congress governments from the Dalits and weaker sections and gave them away to Corporates, he promised to restore them to the real original beneficiaries.
The CLP leader said that Sabita Indra Reddy after being elected from Congress defected to the BRS betraying the Congress. But, what did she do to the people of Maheshwaram constituency while being in power for five years, he asked.
