In protest against the farm bills passed by the Central government and demanding the continuation of agriculture produce purchase centres in the State, Telangana Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu would embark on 13 days statewide tour on farm crisis calling it as "Raithulato Mukhamukhi " (Direct interaction with farmers) from February 9 in the State.
The Congress leader who would kickstart the yatra in Adilabad district, will interact with farmers in the district and take stock of the ground situation particularly the plights
of the farming community in the villages.
As the part of the tour programme, the delegation of the Congress leaders led by Bhatti would also visit the market yards and said that the tour programme is also aimed to rebuild confidence among the farmers who are under distress due to the pro-corporate policies adopted by the Central government and the State government. Against the farm bills, the Congress leader already conducted agitations including Raitu Kavatu (farmers march) in Khammam district last year.
