Forest department officials reported on Monday that a big cat was captured on CCTV wandering into a residence in Jhansimiyaguda area, Shamshabad. District forest officer Sudhakar Reddy stated, "The big cat, which has recently caused panic, was seen walking inside an independent house in Jhansimiyaguda area on Sunday night." Sudhakar Reddy explained that during the previous incident, the department managed to capture the big cat while it was within the airport boundaries. However, this time it was spotted outside the airport perimeter. "We have collected pug marks from the house, but we are

still verifying if it's a leopard," he added.

In response to the situation, Rajendra Nagar MLA V. Prakash Goud inspected the area and urged the forest department to install camera traps. "Seven camera traps have been set up to capture the leopard, and villagers have been alerted," he mentioned. A month ago, a leopard with two cubs was sighted roaming in the RGIA premises. Forest officials had then set up five cages and successfully captured the animals after four days, relocating them to the Amrabad tiger reserve.
