Biker falls to death from new Shaikpet flyover

A motorist died, after he allegedly fell off the newly inaugurated Shaikpet flyover on Saturday. It is yet to be known if he accidentally fell from the flyover or he was hit by any vehicle, police said.

The man, identified as Pritam Bharadwaj (27), a resident of Padmarao Nagar was proceeding from Mehdipatnam towards Gachibowli via the flyover when the mishap occurred.

” He was wearing a helmet but it was not tightly strapped. He fell on the



road from the flyover and died on the spot due to grievous bleeding injuries,” said an official.

The Raidurgam police booked a case of suspicious death and are investigating.

“There are no surveillance cameras at the spot where the incident occurred. We are investigating if he lost control of the vehicle and fell off the flyover or he was hit by another vehicle,” the official said.
