Bill Gates accorded grand welcome on arrival in Vizag

Vizag: American billionaire, philanthropist and co-founder of Microsoft Corporation Bill Gates and his team have reached Vizag to attend the valedictory function of AP Agri-Tech Summit–2017 at APIIC grounds on Friday. Bill Gates got a grand welcome on his arrival at the airport.

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu went to the airport and welcomed Bill Gates. A large number of the scientists, farmers and students



have reached the airport to catch a glimpse of Bill Gates.

Speculations are rife that Bill Gates may make an announcement of the participation of the foundation to give a boost to agriculture in Andhra Pradesh. The AP government will be forming up a partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation (BMGF)  to implement a “digital innovation programme” for farmers in the state.
