Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) would be implementing biometric
attendance system from January 21, 2016 for their employees. HMDA says the
biometric system will make sure that the officials will be available to the
public during the working hours.
The authority has
completed the enrollment of all the employees. The new biometric system of HMDA
provides the facility for the employees to request their leaves online.
Field
duty officers, permanent and deputation officers were also required to punch
the biometric system mandatorily.
HMDA has updated new software called ‘Ehrm-payroll application’ which would calculate the salary of the employees based on their attendance, calculate deductions and creates tax forms and make direct deposits of payments in the employees account. HMDA has total of 270 employees in its various departments.
