BJP bandh a flop

A bandh call given by the BJP to protest against the errors in the Inter results failed to evoke any response on Thursday. Shops and other business establishments remained open while TSRTC operated its services without any problems.

BJP leaders and workers held protests at Mahabubnagar, Karimnagar, Nagarkurnool and other places since morning. BJP leaders and



workers were arrested across the State when they attempted to disrupt normal life.

Former MP Bandaru Dattatreya, MLCs Ramachander Rao, Chintala Ramchandra Reddy and others tried to enter the Secretariat, but police arrested them. Meanwhile, the indefinite fast of State BJP chief K Laxman entered the fourth day on Thursday.
