The BJP candidates list is likely to be released in the second week of October, after several rounds of meeting including one to be chaired by party chief J.P. Nadda, party state chief and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy said.
Addressing the media after meeting Union home minister Amit Shah, G. Kishan Reddy said, "A meeting of office-bearers will be held in Hyderabad on October 5. The state executive will meet on October 6 under the leadership of Nadda."
The meetings will discuss the electoral preparedness of the party. "Our president Nadda will
give directions to the state leadership. We will hold in-depth discussions on the candidates. The list finalised here will be sent to the parliamentary party committee. The first list will be released once the names are finalised there," he said.
Amit Shah is expected to come to Hyderabad on October 10. The back to back meetings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 1 Mahbubnagar and on Tuesday in Nizamabad reflects the energy the party central leadership is spending to reenergize the rank and file.
