The BJP yesterday released its second list of 28 candidates for ensuing Telangana Assembly elections. After a meeting of BJP Central Election Committee held under President Amit Shah, Committee Secretary Jagat Prakash Nadda released the names.
The list included 6 women. The list includes a former MLA and senior party leader Baddam Bal Reddy and ex-MLA Endala Lakshminarayana.
With this, the BJP announced 66 candidates in Telangana. The state is scheduled to go to polls on December 7th for 119-seat Assembly.
All the five party MLAs in the dissolved Assembly and the lone MLC have been given tickets in its first list. The third list of candidates for the remaining seats is expected to be announced in a week.
