State BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that his party would go alone in the ensuing Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections. Sanjay remarks assume significance against the backdrop of Jana Sena Party (JSP) announcing that it has decided to field its candidates in the GHMC elections, and the JSP chief, Pawan Kalyan, asking the party leaders and cadre in the State capital to gear up for the ensuing
elections.
The State BJP chief who interacted with the city leaders on Tuesday made it clear that the alliance of BJP with the JSP was limited to Andhra Pradesh and the saffron party has no alliance with any part in Telangana. Further, he made it clear that his party would contest all the 150 divisions in GHMC. He clarified that no political party has so far consulted with BJP for alliance in the civic body elections.
