BJP's Richie Rich Winners, Losers

Financially rich candidates, including the BJP’s Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, the richest of them all, won the Lok Sabha elections but quite a few of them lost, as per the results released on Tuesday. From the BJP, the list of winning high net worth candidates were: Konda Vishweshwar Reddy (Rs.1,696.09 crore); Arvind Dharmapuri (Rs.109.89 crore) and D.K. Aruna (Rs.66.7 crore). Among the losers were Madhavi Latha (Rs.221.39 crore) and B.B. Patil (Rs.151.69



crore).

From the Congress, Dr Gaddam Rajith Reddy (Rs.294.47 crore) lost the elections along with Patnam Sunita Mahender Reddy (Rs.57.44 crore) and Danam Nagender (Rs.59.41 crore). The winners were Kunduru Raghuveer Reddy (Rs.61.55 crore) and Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy (Rs.58.26 crore). 

The MIM’s Asaduddin Owaisi, who won from Hyderabad, has declared the value of his assets at Rs.23.87 crore.
