Blasphemous lady don Sonu Dangar nabbed

A team of officials from Rajkot crime branch has nabbed blasphemous lady don of Gujarat Sonu Dangar from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. She is involved in more than 10 serious cases in Gujarat and several non-bailable warrants were issued against her.

A massive protest was organised in Hyderabad’s Old City area last week, and several Muslim organisations conducted a rally from Charminar to the office of the South Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police, to protest against the derogatory comments made on Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) by the



Gujarati don on social media, which went viral over the last two weeks.

Consequently, Charminar police booked a case against her under IPC Sections 153(A) (Promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion) and 295(A) (Deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings) and began investigations.

The crime branch and special operation group (SOG) of Rajkot police had formed eight teams of officials to trace Dangar. Finally she was arrested on Friday.
