The main Bonalu festivities shift to Secunderabad on Sunday and Monday, and the Sri Ujjaini Mahankali temple will be the cynosure of all eyes. The temple is already witnessing thousands of people coming to worship the Goddess; it is expected that lakhs of devotees from across the state will come to pray on the festival days.

The administration has been cleaning up the place and erecting barricades to



regulate the movement of devotees.

Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Tuesday, visited the temple and oversaw the arrangements. He interacted with management committees of the Mahankali and other temples and handed over government financial aid.

The government has released 15 crores to provide financial assistance for Bonalu.
