The Andhra Pradesh government has appointed a new 24-member board for the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), with B.R. Naidu as the chairman.
The government issued orders on Wednesday, detailing the composition of the new board, which includes members from various states.
The new TTD board comprises five members from Telangana, three from Karnataka, two from Tamil Nadu, and one each from Gujarat and Maharashtra. Notably, half of the board members are from neighbouring states.
Those appointed as the board members are
-Sambasiva Rao (Jasti Shiva), Sadashiva Rao Nannapaneni, M.S. Raju (Madakasira MLA), Jyothula Nehru (Jaggampeta MLA), Prashanthi Reddy (Kovvur MLA), Panabaka Lakshmi (Former union Minister), Mallela Rajasekhar Gowd, Janga Krishnamurthy, Buragapu Anand Sai, Suchitra Ella, Naresh Kumar, Adit Desai, Saurabh H. Bora, Krishnamurthy Koteswara Rao, Darshan R. N, Justice H.L. Dattu, Shantharam P, Ramamurthy, Janaki Devi Tammishetti, Boongunuru Mahender Reddy and Anugolu Rangasri
Several newly appointed members expressed their gratitude to AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
