Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has on Monday announced its first list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao on Monday released the first list with four candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
He congratulated all the candidates on the occasion and urged the party cadre to work unitedly for the party’s victory in the polls.
After holding comprehensive discussions with the party senior leaders for the past two days, the party leadership declared the candidates.
Addressing the party leaders during the strategy meetings of Khammam and Mahabubabad constituencies at Telangana Bhavan here, Chandrashekhar Rao instructed the party leaders to constitute a three-member coordination committee dedicated for each Assembly segment in every Parliamentary constituency. He asked the party leaders to reach out to every household and organise meetings in every mandal as well as Assembly constituency headquarters. He wanted the party leaders to give a strong counter to the false propaganda of the opponents.
The former Chief Minister instilled
confidence among the party cadre that the future belongs to the BRS as there is a wide-spread resentment against the Congress rule among people. Within a short span, he said the Congress government struggling with inefficient administration and infighting among the leaders, besides facing the corruption charges.
“Victory and defeat are common in politics. The BRS will regain past glory within a short period,” he said. He reminded that though TDP founder NT Rama Rao lost power in 1989, people gave him a massive victory in 1994.
After the public meeting in Karimnagar on March 12, he assured to address another public meeting at Khammam.

Nama Nageswara Rao – Khammam
Maloth Kavitha – Mahabubabad
