Nizamabad: The AP State Finance Corporation (APSFC) served notice on A. Rajitha Reddy, wife of BRS district president and former legislator A. Jeevan Reddy, over the default of a Rs 20-crore loan extended in 2017. Together with interest and penalty, the amount has ballooned to Rs 45 crore.

Rajitha Reddy is listed as the managing director of Vishnujith Infra Developers Private Limited.

APSFC officials served notice at the former MLA residence in



Armoor. The loan was taken to construct the Jeevan Reddy Mall on TSRTC land at Armoor bus stand. Officials have issued notice that the mall would be seized if he did not clear the lease amount arrears within a specified time.

After repeated notices, reminders and visits, APSFC officials issued notice under Section 13(2) of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002.
