Karimnagar: People's minds have been blocked by the unimplemented promises of the two BRS manifestos in the past elections, and they would give a fitting reply to Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao in the coming assembly polls, said BJP leader Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Wednesday.
This time, whatever the BRS or Chandrashekar Rao promises the people through their manifestos do not matter to the people. They have had enough of this fooling game, the BJP national general secretary and Karimnagar MP said.
Speaking to the media persons here, Sanjay Kumar blasted the BRS, Congress and the MIM.
He alleged that Chandrashekar Rao had repeatedly boasted that he would treat his party’s election manifesto as sacred as the Bhagavad Gita, Quran and the Bible. But, when he won the elections in 2014 and 2019, he dumped his party manifesto in the dustbin, he said.
He said the BRS was hatching a conspiracy to win the elections by hook or by crook. "That is why they have given postings to certain trusted officials in strategic places. The government transferred all the officials of various departments except those of the Intelligence department. The BJP will bring this to the notice of the election commission."
"Whichever be the surveys, they are giving an edge to the BJP in the next Telangana state polls," he claimed.
He added, "If the people give power to the BRS once again, it will increase the state’s `5 lakh crore debts to `10 lakh crore. The Congress has no warranty. How can people believe in its guarantees? They say that after 50 years, Rahul Gandhi became mature. By saying so,
these Congress leaders are accepting that all these days Rahul Gandhi did not have a mature mind of his own."
He added, "The MIM is totally dependent on other parties for its survival. If the MIM has guts, it must contest all the 119 Assembly constituencies across the state."
The BJP leader alleged that the people of Telangana state were unable to tolerate the corruption, irregularities and land grabbing by the BRS party leaders. As a result, they were facing hardships and were eagerly waiting for an alternative political party and government."
Every developmental work that has taken place in the Telangana state was done with the funds released by the Modi government. The money given for every grain produced by the farmers came from the central government, Sanjay Kumar claimed.
"We need a double engine sarkar. The BJP is going to contest the polls alone without any alliance in the assembly elections," he said.
He asked, "What happened to KCR? For the past few days, he has not appeared at any public event. Where is he? Is he unwell or doing black magic in his farm house to win the elections? When his wife took rounds of temples wishing KCR good health, why was his son KT Rama Rao not going along with her and other family members to these temples."
"Even though we belong to the opposition, we wish KCR well. He must be in good health," Sanjay said and asked, "Why are the BRS and MIM parties opposing the Razakar movie? Who said that the Nizam is a great leader before the release of the movie, and why they are afraid now."
