Hyderabad: K. Kavitha, the leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), "thanked" Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan for "echoing the vision of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao" on Thursday.
Kavitha, the chief minister's daughter, posted a response to the governor's Republic Day speech, in which he criticized the chief minister, on Twitter.
During the pandemic, we demanded that the country's infrastructure take precedence over the central view. We have been fighting for the exact same thing: putting farmers, laborers, and young people without jobs ahead of making money for a few. As a member of the Telangana Legislative Council, Kavitha wrote, "Thank you for
reiterating the vision of CM KCR Garu."
During the Republic Day celebrations at Raj Bhavan, the governor had made remarks that appeared to target KCR.
She said that some people shouldn't live in farm houses. Building new structures is not development. Development is building a nation. All marginalized farmers ought to have homes and farms. Few ought to be without farm houses. The Governor asserted, "That is not the development."
"Everyone ought to have an equal stake in the progress." My child ought to attend a university with world-class facilities. It's the progress. It is not development to send my child to school abroad,” the governor continued.
