The BRS is gearing up to make its Silver Jubilee celebration public meeting in Warangal on April 27 a massive show of public trust and party resurgence, especially after its setbacks in the recent Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Senior leaders from Warangal met party chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao at his residence in Erravelli on Tuesday to discuss arrangements for the event, which is being meticulously planned to rally party cadres and supporters from across Telangana. He reportedly gave several instructions for the public meeting to ensure that none of the attendees face any inconvenience during the meeting due to summer.

The meeting was attended by BRS working president KT Rama Rao, MLCs, and other leaders from erstwhile Warangal district, who pledged to make the event a historic success. The BRS leaders are making elaborate arrangements for the public meeting at a massive scale staging the party’s political comeback. The event will be held in 1,213 acres being prepped at Elkathurthi in Hanamkonda district, including 154 acres for the main venue and extensive parking arrangements for around 50,000 vehicles in the remaining space.

Logistical preparations include 10 lakh buttermilk packets, 10 lakh water bottles, 1,500 volunteers and emergency medical services to manage the expected crowd.

For BRS, Warangal holds historical significance throughout the Telangana statehood movement. The party leaders from erstwhile Warangal district said the event would not only commemorate the party’s 25-year journey but also reinforce Chandrashekhar Rao’s leadership and his contributions to Telangana’s development. The meeting would be a platform to showcase the people of Telangana’s faith in his leadership.

With numerous achievements including the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme, Warangal’s smart city transformation, multi specialty hospital with state-of-the-art facilities, Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, and UNESCO recognition for Ramappa Temple among others, BRS leaders stated that the meeting would be a reaffirmation of the party’s legacy and future vision. They thanked the BRS chief for giving them an opportunity to reinforce the party’s strength in the State especially erstwhile Warangal district. They vowed to make the public meeting a stepping stone for the party’s resurgence in the State.
