Praying for a year filled with plentiful water, thriving crops and happiness and prosperity for all, BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday extended heartfelt Ugadi wishes to the people of the State.

Emphasising the significance of the festival as the beginning of a new agricultural year, he expressed hope for abundant water resources to ensure prosperous harvests and prayed to Mother Nature for blessings to enrich the lives of the citizens.

He highlighted the importance of Ugadi as a festival that symbolises unity and cooperation among all communities, fostering love and harmony. He described Ugadi as a celebration deeply rooted in the cultural and social fabric of

the people, marking the start of new endeavours for farmers and the agricultural sector.

The former Chief Minister also underscored the unique place Ugadi holds as the first festival of the year, bringing fresh energy and enthusiasm to nature and the lives of the people.

He called for collaborative efforts by both the Central and State governments to implement welfare measures that would bring qualitative changes to the lives of farmers and all sections of society.

Drawing inspiration from the traditional Ugadi Pachadi, Chandrashekhar Rao encouraged people to embrace life’s diverse experiences with wisdom and balance, finding meaning in both joys and challenges.
