BRS MLAs, MLCs, other elected representatives, and party functionaries from the GHMC limits, who had a preparatory meeting on Tuesday ahead of the party’s silver jubilee celebrations, called for effective involvement of the party’s rank and file for large-scale mobilisation for the grand public meeting scheduled at Warangal on April 27.
Preparations for this event will begin with constituency-level meetings on Wednesday.
Addressing the meeting, former Minister and Sanathnagar MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav announced that the BRS would celebrate its foundation day in a festive atmosphere.
Those who attended the meeting included MLCs Surabhi Vani Devi, Shambhipur
Raju, Dasoju Sravan, and MLAs Kaleru Venkatesh, Mutha Gopal, Madhavaram Krishna Rao, along with constituency in-charges and other party leaders.
He revealed plans to hoist party flags across all divisions on April 27, marking the party’s 25th anniversary. The general body meeting of the BRS Greater Hyderabad unit will be held on April 20. Party working president KT Rama Rao will be the chief guest.
Srinivas Yadav praised Telangana’s development under K Chandrashekhar Rao’s leadership. He stated that the State had become a role model for the nation during the BRS rule.
He criticised the Congress government for causing difficulties for almost all sections of society.
