The BRS NRI-UK unit members celebrated the 71st birthday of former Chief Minister and BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao in a grand manner in London on Monday. The event began with an interfaith prayer session where representatives from Hindu, Muslim, and Christian communities offered prayers for Chandrashekhar Rao’s health and longevity.
Telangana Film Development Corporation’s former chairman and BRS NRI founding president Anil Kurmachalam wished Chandrashekhar Rao strength and success, hoping for his return as Telangana’s Chief Minister to continue the State’s development.
BRS NRI-UK president Naveen Reddy stated that the NRI unit had stood by
Chandrashekhar Rao since the Telangana statehood movement and would continue supporting the party. He thanked BRS working president KT Rama Rao, senior leaders T Harish Rao, K Kavitha, and others for their support.
BRS NRI-UK general secretary Ratnakar Kadudula reiterated the unit’s commitment to the party, pledging active participation in all programmes, whether in government or opposition, to strengthen Chandrashekhar Rao’s leadership.
The event saw the participation of several key leaders, including vice-presidents, advisory board members, secretaries, and Telangana Jagruti representatives, making it a significant gathering of Telangana supporters in the UK.
