BSNL sets up hotspots at Medaram

The public sector mobile services provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has set up as many as 19 mobile hotspots at Medaram village and its surroundings to offer free Wi-Fi internet service to the devotees.  

The devotees taking part in the biannual Sammakka Saralamma Jatara can immerse themselves in hassle-free online activity sharing their pictures and their pilgrimage updates on social media platforms with their near and dear. The BSNL Warangal Circle Principal General Manager K Narender said that



an individual user may use up to 500 mb of data per day. For the first time a bandwidth of 10gbps which can handle a large number of connections with ease is being employed, he said here on Monday.

The hotspots were set up at Temple Gaddelu, where the tribal deities will be installed, Chilakalgutta, Jampanna stream, Reddygudem, ITDA guest house, English Medium School, PHC, RTC bus stop at Medaram village along with Gattamma Temple, Narlapur, Kothur, Oorattam cross road and Tadvai bus stop.
