BSNL to launch mobile wallet with SBI

To promote cashless payment methods, two public sector giants BSNL and SBI joined hands to launch a mobile wallet called `BSNL-SBI MobiCash M-wallet’ in TS and AP on Tuesday. It is an open wallet where cash out is also possible. Vast retailer network of BSNL having presence in rural and remote locations of the states can provide



banking solutions to the rural masses through this wallet. 

The wallet was launched by L Ananatha Ram, Chief General Manager Telecom, TS Circle and Hardayal Prasad, Chief General Manager, SBI, Telangana and AP. On doesn’t need a bank acoount to use the app as it can be loaded at BSNL retailer outlets.
