Bus catches fire in Nalgonda, 1 die

An unidentified passenger died while 37 others managed to escape after Srikrishna Travels bus in which they were travelling caught fire at Marriguda bypass in Nalgonda district early on Monday. The bus was bound from the city to Chirala, Nalgonda sub-inspector Bhaskar Reddy



said. 

A passenger, identified as Man Mohan, noticed smoke emanating from the AC vent and alerted other passengers as well as the driver. While the others escaped, the unidentified passenger was caught in the blaze.
