Two persons have died in an accident when a private bus reportedly overturned on the Outer Ring Road near Narsingi. The victims were allegedly crushed and succumbed under the bus, while 16 out of 30 passengers on board were seriously injured. The incident occurred at 9.20 pm on Sunday when a Morning Star bus traveling from Hyderabad to Chennai lost control due to overspending resulting in the bus turning turtle.

A 33-year-old woman, Mamata, died on the spot while another died after being taken to the hospital. Another person is in critical condition. The driver was reportedly drunk and was driving at high speed, as reported by the

locals. An eyewitness from the Outer Ring Road said, "The vehicle was at high speed when the accident happened. The roads were already slippery, and the driver did not try to control the speed. The two people who died were sitting in the front seats.

The bus was later lifted with the help of a crane." The accident led to traffic jam, with nearly 2 kilometers of road clogged with influx of vehicles on Outer Ring Road. However diversions were made by the traffic police for the vehicles stuck in the traffic for a long time and removed the overturned bus with the help of a crane.
